By Hand Designs

In the initial stages of my design career I was a professional calligrapher and illustrator offering hand-made custom designs. All of my work was created By Hand with a mix of tools such as traditional calligraphers pens, nibs, india ink, chalk markers, paint and more. Partial production was designed digitally in Adobe for mass print production. 

My role was to curate custom-designed products for private events and personalized orders. At By Hand my top offerings were hand-lettered wedding invitation suites, table cards, seating charts, framed memorabilia, stamps, gift tags, signage, and even hand-painted event installations. 

As a solo entrepreneur I manage the business, concepted new designs, planed deadlines, marketed creative services, and built my clientele. I often co-created with local letterpress designers, florists, and event coordinators to align our talents to our client needs. Between individual client requests, I lended my services to established brands such as TOMS, Neiman Marcus, Crayola, Staples, Sperry, YogaWorks and Core Power Yoga.
